2760504 - IQ unresponsive while parallel "alter table move" between dbspaces - SAP IQ

Symptom

Customer is upgrading from IQ 16 SP11 to IQ 16.1 SP02. In addition moving tables from 100 GB dbfiles ( dbspace1 ) to 500 GB dbfiles ( dbspace2 ).

  • CPU gets quite loaded with single table relocation operation
  • Mostly unresponsive if  more then 3 “alter table … move” statements are issued concurrently
