2760884 - Basic Search In Accounts Work Center Does Not Return Expected Values

You are trying to search for all accounts with street name but the system returns no results.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to Customers work center.
2. Go to Accounts view.
3. Enter ABC (ABC represents the street name of an existing account) in the basic search field.

No results are shown although one or more accounts have the street name ABC maintained.

By default, certain fields like Street, House Number, Postal Code, and so on, are not included in the basic search.

To enable the search for these fields, the fields must be added to the basic search via the adaptation mode.

1. Go to Customers work center.
2. Go to Accounts view.
3. Click Adapt and Edit Master Layout.
4. Hover over the columns of the account overview.
5. Click the Modify Basic Search button.
6. Add the desired fields to the basic search by ticking the checkboxes.

This also applies to the basic search for contacts and individual customer.
