2762550 - When uploading Leads using Excel, the field State is not being uploaded correctly

You are uploading Leads using Excel and the value for State is not uploaded correctly. However, you don't receive an error message.

Example: You enter "Wien" in the excel field; this State is in the Lead header drop down listed as "W- Wien" but it is not uploaded as "W - Wien".

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Download the excel template for Leads.
2. Fill the field Country, eg "AT" for Austria.
3. Fill in the field State, eg "Wien".
4. Click Save Data To.
5. Go to the Leads view and find the new Lead.

Result: the field State is filled with "Wien" instead of "W- Wien".

The values for the field State are Code List values (which are restricted by Country) and have to be used at the code value and not the description.

In our example, please enter "W" instead of "Wien". You can use the function "Lookup" which is provided in the excel template to see which values can be entered for the fields.
