2762876 - Using mapping rule between Position and Job Requisition to set position field is not working as expected - Employee Central

You are trying to change position fields when job requisition is triggered using Rule for Mapping Fields Between Position and Job Requisition.

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
• Position Management

1. Go to Position Management Settings
2. Select Integration tab
3. Update the rule on Rule for Mapping Fields Between Position and Job Requisition field with a set statement in order to change a field when job requisition is created.
4. Go to Position Org Chart
5. Create a Job Requisition for a Position

Result: The position does not change according the rule set.

Expected Behavior of the system.

This is actually a system design. This rule exists on this screen specifically to get information from the position and populate it into Job Requisitions being created, but only that, and it is not supported for filling data back to the position.
