2763418 - Cannot Find Manage Employee Time Events Web Service

You want to use the Manage Employee Time Events web service, but cannot locate it in the Service Explorer work center view.

1. Go to the Application and User Management work center.
2. Select the Service Explorer work center view.
3. Click the header of the Service Name column.
4. In the Filter field, input TimeAndLabourManagementEmployeeTimeEventMaintenanceIn (the service name for the Manage Employee Time Events web service).
5. The query does not locate the desired web service.

The web service Manage Employee Time Events is part of an integration scenario involving time recording terminals. This scenario is only available for Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

First, ensure that at least one of the above-mentioned countries are in your project scope. To do this:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Access the Implementation Projects work center view.
3. Select your active implementation project and click Edit Project Scope.
4. In the first step, Country and Type of Business, check if Austria, Germany and/or Switzerland are in scope.
5. If not, click Edit Countries.
6. Select at least one of these countries in the left-hand column, move them to the right-hand column with the arrow buttons and click Ok.
7. Navigate until step 4, Questions.
8. Expand scoping element Human Resources, then expand option Time and Labor Management.
9. Select sub-option Time Recording.
10. On the right-hand column, check the box for question Do you want to integrate Time Recording Terminals?
11. Click Finish.

Once the scoping is done, you will find the Manage Employee Time Events web service by following these instructions:

1. Go to the Application and User Management work center.
2. Access the Communication Arrangement work center view.
3. Set the selection to All Communication Arrangements.
4. Find and open communication scenario Time Recording Terminal Integration.
5. On the next screen, you'll see all web services that are part of this scenario, including Time Event Maintenance.
