SAP Knowledge Base Article - Preview

2763501 - http port 8080 no longer available in SMP 3.0.16 and above for SMP 3.0

Symptom

  • SAP Mobile Platform(SMP) no longer configures the HTTP port 8080.
  • When viewing Settings->Connectors the HTTP Connector is not listed as in older versions.
  • The above behavior occurs on a brand new installation as opposed to an upgrade from an earlier SMP version.
