2764044 - How does recruiting handle the Job Requisitions posting Start Date and Time - Recruiting Management

Symptom

Recruiting users are seeing different start / end date and time for the same Job Requisition.

User 1 posted a Job Requisition and user 2 is seeing another start /end date/time for the same Job Requisition.

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Cause

Working as Designed.

The posting time will always be on the Posting User's Midnight time. (Based on Windows Timezone).
The information in A is the time zone based in SFSF User's Location, while the information in B is calculated from the original posting time.

Resolution

The first user, Aanya Sing, is located in EDT zone in her SFSF user profile.

They have posted the Job internally using the Windows Timezone EDT (A) and externally when using Windows Timezone UTC (B).

Both date/times show, in EDT, the midnight of the posting User

If we change the user visualizing it, the posting time will be the same, but calculated based in SFSF User's Location.

Please note that if you proxy as another user, the calculation will always consider the user you are logged in as, and not the user proxied as.
