2764340 - Error in Intrastat Declaration run: Goods Movement and Invoice; Company VAT ID Missing

You have created the Intrastat Declaration Run for arrival scenario and the application log shows the error message:

Goods movement; Company VAT ID missing

Goods movement; Company ID missing

Goods movement and invoice; Company VAT ID not valid

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Intrastat work center
2. Go to the Intrastat Declaration Runs view
3. Select the relevant Run ID
4. Go to the Execution Details tab
5. Check the Application Log ID
6. Navigate to Results tab
7. Under General Messages, you can see entry for Transfer to declaration failed for the following items.

The goods movement used in the declaration run is a standard inbound delivery document for to-stock purchase order or a Third-Party Inbound Delivery document.

If you check the account master data for Buying Company, VAT number or tax number is not maintained.

You can maintain the VAT number or tax number and then create the Intrastat Declaration Run again.

This will pick up the Goods movement or Third-Party Inbound Delivery to Intrastat Declaration runs and items will be passed to Intrastat Declaration.

1. Go to the Accounting Management work center
2. Go to the Accounts view
3. Select the relevant Account
4. Navigate to Financial Data tab and select sub-tab Tax Data
5. Select Add Row and define the Tax Number
