2764590 - CREATE PROC infected with signal 11 in omni_parse_name_using_optional_bracket() - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • A client connection is unexpectedly terminated.
  • The client was trying to create a procedure that referenced a global temporary table and a table that did not exist.
  • The ASE errorlog contains an infected with signal 11 error/ storage access violation in the module omni_parse_name_using_optional_bracket() with a stack trace:

Adaptive Server Enterprise system exception (0xc0000005) generated by a storage access violation.
