Symptom
- Why is there a % symbol infront of the standard percentage field column label in the Executive Review Export?
- Why is there not a % symbol infront of a custom percentage field column label in Executive Review Export?
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors Compensation
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Executive Review.
- Select your template.
- Run the export to CSV/Excel.
- Notice that standard percentage fields have a % symbol infront of the column label while custom percentage fields do not have a % symbol infront of the column label.
Cause
- SuccessFactors is working as currently designed - Expected behavior
Resolution
- When we export the Executive Review for a template that has standard percentage fields configured such as compa-ratio/range penetration, the system will add a % infront of their column label in the report.
- This means that in the worksheet if the field looks like "Compa-Ratio" then in the export it will show as "%Compa-Ratio".
- The same applies to fields that you select to show percentage such as Merit, Lumpsum and Adjustment. A column called "%Merit" will display in the export for example.
Note: This behavior only applies to standard fields and is purely a visual aid for those working with Executive Review. Custom fields are not affected by this logic and do not take a % symbol infront of their column label as they are not hardcoded into the system.
