2765225 - Error when creating cost center from Alternative Cost Center screen

Symptom

When trying to create a new cost center from the People Profile, through the Alternative Cost Center section and using the (+) sign besides the field, we are getting error message when saving the details "???saving of 1 costcenter throwed a exception???
