2766141 - Error: “Correspondence language for a person can only be edited in Common node” While Importing Accounts Using Migration

Your requirement is to create Private Accounts/ Individual Person using migration tool. During the Simulation, you receive the below error:

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Business Configuration work center
2. Select Implementation Projects view or Overview
3. Search and Open the activity Migration of Customers
4. Select Migrate customers using the migration tool
5. Select You Can Also at the top right corner of the screen and Download Migration Template
6. Fill the required and the mandatory fields in the migration file
7. Upload the Migration File
8. Execute Migration for the respective Migration File with Migration Mode Add new records
9. In the Simulation step, you receive the mentioned error

The correspondence Language of a Business Partner Person is maintained on the Addresses sheet.

The correspondence Language of a Business Partner Person should be maintained on the General sheet and not on the Addresses sheet. That means, for Customers that are Private Account/ Individual Person, the Language must be maintained only in the General sheet.

Correct the data in the migration file and proceed with the migration activity.
