- Major faults increasing - performance is fine, at least for a while.
Adaptive Server had 2954 major and 0 minor page faults since boot, and 1751 major and 0 minor page faults in last 30000 milliseconds.
Adaptive Server had 11628 major and 0 minor page faults since boot, and 8674 major and 0 minor page faults in last 30000 milliseconds.

- Looking at the devices in the bootup sequence:
Virtual device 172 started using asynchronous i/o.
Activating disk 'mydev92' of size 2097152 KB.
Warning: Sybase recommends not to use '/dev/data92' as a database device, because it is a block device and may cause data loss in case of system failure.
Initializing virtual device 137, '/dev/data92' with dsync 'off'.
- Milliseconds after the server boot completed, the error mesages starts printing the major error messages - and never stops:
