2766857 - Fields such as County, City, Street cannot be sorted in the Opportunities view

Symptom

You have added some fields (related to an address) in the Opportunities OWL. However, when clicking on the column, you do not see the option "Sort Ascending" and "Sort Descending".

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Sales work center.
  2. Go to the Opportunities view.
  3. In the column City or County (for example) which you have added via Adaptation Mode, click on it.

RESULT: The option "Sort Ascending" and "Sort descending" is not available.

Cause

Some fields do not have the option to be sorted. This is a limitation from our end to avoid a dump for the unlimited data types, these field are some of them. This being the reason we add an attribute called "no Sort", so that sorting in not allowed.

Please use the Advance Search if you are looking for a specific address.
