Symptom

  • Users want to know if an expiry or validity date can be configured for offer letters in Recruiting Management.
  • Clarification is needed on how and when an offer letter becomes expired.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create an offer letter for a candidate in Recruiting Management.
  2. Create a new version of the same offer letter.
  3. Observe that the previous offer letter version is marked as expired.

Cause

Current product behavior does not support configuring a custom expiry date for offer letters.

Resolution

  • It is currently not possible to configure a custom expiry date for offer letters in Recruiting Management.
  • An offer letter automatically expires when a new version of that offer letter is created.
