2766995 - Teradata compression values do not reverse engineer - SAP PD

Symptom

After reverse engineering a table from a Teradata 15 SQL script, a character column with a list of compressed values doesn't create properly if the value contains a parenthesis, '(' or ')'.  Values up to the parenthesis, ')' , are imported with the next value being used as the next column in the table.
