2767964 - Virus scan fail on file format with import content

When utilizing the import content tool, the following error is received during the Import Summary screen:

Error occurred while trying to scan the file  for virus. The status returned by virus scan service was 500.

Import any xlsx with name format using the extension repeated in the last of the file name, e.g. 1902_xlsx.xlsx

With the introduction of the virusscan configuration setting in 1902, this file naming is flagged.

Either of the following will resolve:

• Rename your file to not include this extension in the name itself.
• Disable the virus scan at System Admin > Configuration > System Configuration > Web Security > enableVirusScan=false
  *Note SF LMS still has a tenant level virus scan and also one available on the sftp, so this setting is more for files not deployed to an iContent or deployment location.
