2768187 - Error "Cost Estimate does not Exist" for Actual Cost Allocation Run is Displayed Even After Successfully Executing Actual Cost Rollup Run

You have executed Actual Cost Rollup Run and the executed Actual Cost Allocation Run however the error message: "Cost Estimate does not exist" is still displayed.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Inventory Valuation work center.
2. Go to the Periodic Tasks view.
3. Go to the Actual Cost Allocation subview and search for the Run ID: XYZ (XYZ represents the Run ID).
4. Select the Run ID: XYZ and navigate to the Log Result.
5. Select the Log and navigate to the Messages tab.

Error Message: Cost estimate does not exist.

However, you have executed the Actual Cost Rollup run.

In the Material Actual Costing view for which the Actual Cost Allocation run was executed you can see the allocation amount is 0 which means there is no allocation to perform the costing.

This is the expected system behavior.

In the Not Processed tab of the Actual Cost Allocation run, you will find the materials. Check the Material Actual Costing for the particular material and you see the allocation amount is 0. The Actual Cost Rollup run was successful however the Actual Cost Allocation run could not be successfully processed as the material did not have any amount that could be allocated for that particular period.
