2768301 - Resource Calendar is Not Considered In Production Planning

You have set the flag Resource Calendar in your resource used for production. However, when the production order is created, the system proposes the production start date based on the site working hours.

1. Go to Production Control work center.
2. Navigate to the Production Order view.
3. Search for the relevant production order and choose the Edit button.
4. You see that the production order has been planned as per the site working hours and not as per your resource working hours.

The Released Execution Model (Production Model) has Supply Operation configured in it. This means that before the production begins the system will create a supply task which is a predecessor operation of the production tasks. The supply task does not prescribe to any production resource as it works similar to a pick task and hence can be scheduled only when the site is active.

Remove the supply operation from production model and release the model for planning and execution. Please follow below given steps to remove the supply operation from your production model.

1. Go to Planning and Production Master Data work center.
2. Navigate to the Production Model view.
3. Search for the relevant production model, select it and choose the Edit button.
4. In the Bill of Operations tab under the BoO details sub-tab you can see the button Enable/Disable against the Supply to Production field.
5. Select the button to uncheck the Supply To Production field.
6. Choose the Check Consistency button.
7. Select the Release Production Model button and choose the option For Planning and Execution.

You will see that for any new production orders created with the production model without the supply task will have the order planned as per the resource calendar.
