2768614 - The 'type' field does not display a picklist when creating a Development Goal on Mobile

When adding a Development Goal on the SuccessFactors mobile application, the field with ID "type" does not display a picklist and displays a free text box. However, when adding a Development Goal on the desktop application it displays with the configured picklist (enum) options.

SAP SuccessFactors Succession & Development

1. A field with ID "type" is configured with enum values in the Development Plan Template.

2. When adding a Development Goal on the desktop application it displays with the configured options.

3. When additing a Development Goal on the mobile application it displays as a free text box.

The ID "type" is a system reserved ID, used for compatibility purposes in the learning template and is not supported for custom field configurations.

Workaround:

You can use an alternate ID for the enum field and it will display correctly on both desktop and mobile. However, to use such a customization you would need to export all related employee data for the field, and reimport after the template has been reconfigured.
