2768883 - Unable to Edit Texts in Posted Journal Entry Voucher

Symptom

You can edit Header Text and Item Text in posted journal entry. However, you cannot edit Header Text and Item Text in posted journal entry voucher.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the General Ledger work center.
  2. Go to the Journal Entry Vouchers view.
  3. Show All Journal Entry Vouchers.
  4. Select one Journal Entry Voucher with Posting Status Posted and press Edit.
  5. You are unable to edit Header Text and Item Text.

Cause

Currently it is not possible to edit texts in already posted Journal Entry Vouchers.

Resolution

This is current system behavior. It is possible to amend texts of posted Journal Entry Vouchers via PDI add-on customization.
