Symptom

  • Running transaction MM12 results in the error
  • The current ABAP program "SAPLALDB" had to be terminated because it found a statement that could not be executed. In include "LMALHARA ", in line 2169 of program "SAPLMALH ", the following syntax errors have occurred: The data object "MARA" does not have a component called "VCHNR".
