Symptom

  • After one of the following commands:
    • LOAD DATABASE
    • LOAD TRANSACTION
    • ONLINE DATABASE
       
  • The ASE errorlog prints messages referring to TH_FREESPACE_DIAG:

Cleanup of preallocated pages for database db1 completed, 0 extents cleaned.
Log contains all committed transactions until 2019/03/14 22:53:25.67 for database db1.
Timestamp for database 'db1' is (0xfb63, 0x000000b0).
No resources to allocate TH_FREESPACE_DIAG for database 4. Freespace accounting information cannot be shown.
