2769516 - Removing extension fields from Modify Basic Search

You have an extension field which is part of modify basic search and you want to remove it. You try removing it from the advanced search filter and then check the modify basic search, but the field is still available.

You may have to remove the KUT field from the advanced search filter by changing the visibility property from the field definition.

You will also get a warning message saying "This field is also used in basic search. We recommend that you remove it from the basic search first to avoid inconsistency."

To avoid such a situation, remove the KUT field using the "Hide element" option in the adapt mode.
