2769620 - Over the Counter Sales Do Not Have Shipping Related Dates

• You create an Over-the-Counter Sale (OTC) document.
• You want to maintain shipping and pickup dates.
• No field is available to do so.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Over-the-Counter Sales work center.
2. In Common Tasks, select New Over-the-Counter Sale.
3. Maintain Customer Account data, Ship-to and Items data.
4. You can also fill in the Posting and Invoice Dates but no other date can be maintained or is displayed.

You expect that a shipping related date such as delivery date, requested date or pick up dates can be maintained as on Sales Orders Items.

The creation date and time of the Over-the-Counter Sale is used as the pickup or shipping date for the outbound delivery.  
The system behavior has been designed with having the customer present for the Over-the-Counter Sale and with them picking up the items at the time of creation of the OTC document.
