2769882 - Unable to Import the Approval Status of the Contract Using Data Workbench

Your requirement is to import the Contract with its Approval Status using Data Workbench. The Contract.csv template downloaded from the Import view in Data Workbench does not have the Approval Status field.

1. Go to Data Workbench workcenter
2. Go to Import view
3. Select the radio button for Individual Object
4. Go to Insert tab
5. Go to Standard Object tab
6. Search for the Data Workbench object Contract
7. Select Download button to download the template
8. In the downloaded template, unable to see the Approval Status field

By default, when the Contract is created in system manually or through Data Workbench, it has an Approval Status as Not Started. The field Approval Status is greyed out for changes. It is not possible to provide the Approval Status of the Contract during the upload.

Depending on how your Administrator has set-up workflows in the solution, some Contracts may need an approval. The Contract is sent for approval only if your Administrator has set-up an approval workflow. If the approver has not reacted to the Contract, you can select Withdraw from Approval.

To submit it for approval, you have to open the Contract document and select the button Actions->Submit for Approval, which changes the Approval Status to In Approval.

You may also withdraw the Contract from the Approval by selecting the button Actions->Withdraw from Approval which changes the Approval Status of the Contract to Withdrawn.
