2770397 - Variance on time does not support having a story/page/group filter and a chart filter defined on the Date dimension at the same time in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

When using a Date type dimension in a page or story filter and you add a variance, the following error or warning message occurs in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC):

• Unable to retrieve data from the datasource.
• Variance on time does not support having a story/page/group filter and a chart filter defined on the Date dimension at the same time.

• SAP Analytics Cloud 2019.4.5

1. Add Date as dimension and a measure in a line chart
2. Add a filter on the Date dimension by range
3. Add a variance analysis and select Date as dimension
4. Error occurs Unable to retrieve data from the datasource. Variance on time does not support having a story/page/group filter and a chart filter defined on the Date dimension at the same time.
