2770533 - Activity Task Data Source Displays # for Some Notes

You open the preview of the data source Activity Task (technical ID CODTKAHB) or a report based on top of it and realize that for some tasks the characteristic Notes is displaying #.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the work center Business Analytics, view Design Data Sources.
2. Search for data source Activity Task (technical ID CODTKAHB).
3. Add the characteristic Notes.
4. You realize that for some tasks it shows # not assigned.

There are two different note types available 'Body Text' (10002) and 'Internal Comment' (10011). In the UI itself we only support the type body text and the users would only be able to enter this type.

The notes with the type internal comment were created via a web service. You can utilize type code body text (10002) when creating task notes through web services. The key here is to avoid using the type code 10011 which will create an internal comment and cannot be shown in data sources.
