2770770 - Incumbent User Details Cannot be Edited

This article details why users are unable to edit incumbent user details within the Succession Org Chat.

SAP SuccessFactors Succession & Development (Legacy Positions)

The incumbent user details cannot be edited. The fields are only editable for to be hired user details.

• This is due to the Nomination Method.
• Using the legacy position as nomination method. The fields are only editable for to be hired user details.

• Incumbent Fields are only editable within the Employee Profile for those using Legacy Position Nomination Method.
• The ability to do so in the Succession Org Chart is only possible with MDF Nomination Method.
