2771026 - Is it possible to hide Time Valuation Results in Summary section in Time Sheet UI ?

There is a requirement to hide the time valuation results for time type groups marked as UI component through role-based permissions in Time Sheet UI for specific employee groups only, e.g. employees, managers, HR.

Login as an employee then go to Time Sheet and record time sheet entries for the week. Time Sheet valuation results are displayed in Time Sheet UI week summary area.

For employees, time sheet valuation results for time type groups marked as UI component must not be displayed and should only be visible for managers, administrators and/or HR.

Time Type Groups marked as a UI Component will always be displayed in Time Sheet UI regardless of employee role.
Currently, it is not possible to define a permission target groups and permission roles to control visibility of time valuation results in Time Sheet UI week summary area.

If you definitely want to hide Summary section with Time Valuation Results in Time Sheet UI, currently the only option is to set UI Component to 'No' for time type groups.

If all the time type groups in the employee's time recording profile are set to No in 'UI Component' field, the Summary section with Time Valuations Results will not show in Time Sheet UI.

Then for checking the time valuation results, you can assign View Time Valuation Trace permission only to the users that you want them to be able to access the Time Valuation Results.

NOTE: In this way, no user will be able to see the Summary section with time valuation results in Time Sheet UI. Only users who have been granted permission to view time valuation trace will see the detailed summary of time valuation results using the time valuation Trace feature.
