2771043 - Label Changes In Layout Adaptation Not Taking Effect

Symptom

You changed the label of a given element in the User Interface via Change Label functionality in Layout Adaptation, but even after saving and ending layout changes, the value of the label is not being updated.

Environment

SAP Cloud For Customer

Cause

Language Adaptation settings overrides layout adaptations of the labels on the User Interface.

Resolution

To be able to change the label of the desired UI element you have two options:

  1. Perform the changes directly via language adaptation.
  2. Remove the language adaptation and perform the changes via layout adaptation.
