Reproducing the Issue

Prerequisite: a Survey 123 that has questions in German and in English for example.

  1. Logon in a language other than German or English (for example Dutch or French).
  2. Go to the Surveys workcenter.
  3. Go to the Surveys view.
  4. Find the Survey 123.
  5. Go to the Design facet and note that the questions are blank.

The questions in the Survey 123 have no translation in the logon language ABC; however you have added the translation for the survey name into the logon language and you have clicked "Update Languages". By clicking "Update Languages", the new language is being added to the questions and you will have to add the translation for each question.

Please either add the translation for the questions for the language ABC, or alternatively avoid clicking "Update Languages" when translating the survey name:

  1. Logon in the language XYZ.
  2. Go to the Surveys workcenter.
  3. Open the Survey 123.
  4. Add the new language ABC and maintain the name.
  5. Do not click "Update Languages"! Clicking it will add the new language to the questions and you will have to add the translations.
  6. Close the dialog box using the X on the top right corner and save the survey.
