2772381 - The Total Negotiated Value Field is Read-Only

Symptom

The Total Negotiated Value field is Read-only on the Opportunity header.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Sales work center.
  2. Go to the Opportunities view.
  3. Open the Opportunity ABC (ABC represents the Opportunity ID).
  4. The Total Negotiated Value field is Read-only and cannot be edited.

Cause

This is the expected system behaviour.

Resolution

The Total Negotiated Value field is a compound field. This field combines the Negotiated Values for each product maintained in the Products tab of the Opportunity TI and this cannot be edited from the Opportunity header.
