2772512 - User: [***]This UserId [***] is duplicated with existing person_id_external

You are trying to import the basic import but when doing so you are receiving an error message saying that the user ID is duplicated in another person_id_external.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Go to Import Employee Data and select Download Template
2. Fill all the fields necessary in your CSV
3. Now in Import Employee Data, select Import Data
4. When you try to import it you get the error:

User: [***]This UserId [***] is duplicated with existing person_id_external

You have orphan ID which is then causing this error message to trigger.

To solve this:

1. Run the checktool to make sure the user you are trying to import is really an orphan ID (for this please refer to the KB article 2438812)
2. Remove the orphan IDs (for this, please also refer to the KB article 2438812 in the session that explains about the compound delete)
