2772835 - Leave Request Auto Approved Without Workflow

Even though Workflow Rules are configured in Employee Time Object, system is not triggering workflow. When the user requests a Leave ,request gets auto approved. Rule trace logs also shows that the workflow is triggering successfully.

Successfactors Employee Central: Time Off

1. Apply Leave Request as User or Proxy as Admin user.
2. Leave Request gets auto approved without workflow being triggered.
3. Rule trace logs show that the workflow is triggering successfully.

Admin Workflow is not defined in the Time Type Object > Admin Workflow Configuration. System code is designed to prevent triggering workflow if the Admin Workflow is not defined in the Time Type Object.

It is mandatory to define Admin Workflow in the Time Type Object > Admin Workflow Configuration, even though the workflow rules are assigned in Employee Time object.
