2773012 - Received Error Message 'You do not have the required permission to view this page.' when Searching Security Domain in Assignment Profile

When attempting to search security domains on an Assignment Profile rule, the system states 'You do not have the required permission to view this page.'

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Admin attempts to search security domain as a rule in Assignment Profile
2. Click on 'Add Rules' > Select 'Security Domain' > Select 'Matches' > Search for the target doman
3. 'You do not have the required permission to view this page.' is thrown. 

Relevant permission is missing in the admin role.

There is a permission 'Search Security Domain' to control this function. Admin can add this permission to the affected user's role by follwing

1. Go to System Administration > Security > Role Management >

2. Search for the role that is assigned to the admin > Access to it

3. Navigate to 'Search' catagory > Add 'Search Security Domain' > Apply Changes

Note: This symptom and resolution also apply to the 'Organization ID' attribute in the assignment profile rule, in which case, the permission required to control this attribute is 'Search Organisation'.
