Resolution
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Posting delivers jobs to job boards with different methods (API, XML Feed, …) and at different places (FTP, URL, …). If there should be a modification in either the delivery method and conditions (a new job board specific field, a change in the API, …) or place (new FTP login, etc.) to deliver the jobs, then Recruiting Posting Product Team should be informed by the job board beforehand.
Indeed, each update of job board integration is a roadmap item, requiring specifications, evaluation and planning by our product managers and engineering team. Roadmaps are current states of planning, can be changed anytime without notice and do not serve as commitment for feasibility or deadline.
When the integration of a job board should be updated, it is up to the job board to contact the Product team of SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Posting.
The job board should provide the following information at least six months in advance:
- What is the update about? (adding a field, removing a field, changing sending method, specific translations fields etc.)
- What is the time frame? Is there a deadline?
- Any piece of documentation that would be necessary for the update (new API documentation, list of fields and their corresponding values, etc.)
- A technical contact
The information should be sent to: sap-sfsf-jobposting-jobboards@sap.com
Kindly note that no custom updates will be treated through this mailbox, it is made only for updates that would affect all customers.
Also, the job board integration update is handled by Recruiting Posting Product team. As the Support has no visibility on their planning or roadmap, no further information in terms of feasibility or deadline can be provided by Support. Please note that any job board integration update can take several weeks, and that is why we strongly recommend that job boards contact the Product team at least one month in advance.
Important note: Only job board can contact the email address "sap-sfsf-jobposting-jobboards@sap.com". If a customer contact this email address, no response will be provided.
The implementation of the Feedback API (feedback on all imported jobs, even those which have been rejected) is also regarded as an integration update, and the aformentioned process needs to be followed.
