2773366 - Chained Workflow Rules On Business Object Activity Task Not Executed


You have created an activity task on any business object via a workflow rule. A second workflow rule was created in order to make a change on the newly created activity task, but this is not working.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Activity task ABC (ABC represents the task ID) was created via workflow rule DEF (DEF represents the workflow rule ID of the first workflow rule).
  2. Workflow rule GHI (GHI represents the workflow rule ID of the second workflow rule) should make a change on activity task ABC.

No workflow logs are created and no change is made to activity task ABC.


The system is working as intended. This functionality is not supported to avoid recursion issues.
