2774226 - Calculated Results in Financial Statements - Plan/Actual - Version Comparison

You have executed the report Financial Statements - Plan/Actual - Version Comparison and the Calculated Result field is fetching the result which are not as per your expectation.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the General Ledger work center.
2. Go to the Reports -> List -> select Financial Statements - Plan/Actual - Version Comparison.
3. Fill the selection criteria.
4. Calculated Result value is not equal to sum of the transaction value of the records listed above it.

Calculated result is a simple node on the reporting structure which only holds a balance which is calculated only on this report and not based on any postings.

This is done this way because the balance on the header of the report must always be zero (0).
Assets = Liabilities + Equity.

In case this equation does not balance, then the difference is put in this field - 'calculated result' and in case of P/L then Profit = Rev - Expenses difference seen in 0PLRESULT.
