Symptom

  • Below error message appears when trying to validate a derived table in Information Design Tool:

    "Invalid expression. The name/alias 'column name' could not be found."

  • The issue started to occur after migrating from SAP BI 4.0 to SAP BI 4.1/4.2.
  • The datasource SAP BW, connection to InfoProviders through relational JCo connection.
