Symptom
This article describes the behavior of Intelligent Services Job on Job Application Creation.
"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."
Environment
SuccessFactors Recruiting Management (RCM) - All versions
Reproducing the Issue
1. Go to Admin Center > Intelligent Services Center > [Intelligent Services Job] that moves candidates to other statuses or trigger any other integration when a Job Application is created.
2. You will not see any triggers created in Intelligent Services Center under the [Intelligent Services Job].
Cause
Recruiting Management have two types of events that are published related to Job Application, they are:
1)JOB_APP_DATA_CHANGE - is triggered during the update of Job Application (not during the creation).
2)JOB_APP_STATUS_CHANGE - is triggered when there is any status change in the Job Application.
However, Intelligent Services is configured to listen to JOB_APP_STATUS_CHANGE event but not on JOB_APP_DATA_CHANGE event. Therefore, no trigger will be created when an application is created (JOB_APP_DATA_CHANGE).
But, there will be a trigger created when the application is moved to another status (JOB_APP_STATUS_CHANGE).
Resolution
You can utilize other middleware that moves candidates to other statuses or trigger any other integration when a Job Application is created, but you cannot use Intelligent Services to create the subscription triggers.
