2775658 - Cannot add member to purged worksheet - Compensation

Symptom

Unable to add employee to worksheet using the tool "Add employees" under Employee Membership in Manage Worksheet.

  • SAP SuccessFactors Compensation

Reproducing the Issue

  1.  Launch a Compensation Worksheet.
  2.  The status of an employee on this worksheet changes to inactive but the worksheet is not updated.
  3.  Then this employee is Purged from the system.
  4.  Navigate to Employee Worksheets > Employee Membership > Add Employees
  5.  Attempt to Add an Employee to the worksheet where the user was purged and the following will appear.

Cause

Expected behavior when user is purged without purging his compensation data. We cannot edit worksheets regarding membership that contain purged employees.

Resolution

The following 2 workarounds are available:

  1. Relaunch the worksheet
  2. Delete the user first from the worksheet using Admin > Delete Employee functionality and then proceed with the purge
