2776101 - No Option To Define Right To Left In Broadcast Reports

Symptom

When you create a new broadcast, there is no option to define that the report will display right alignment for the column text. This functionality is known as RTL (Right to Left).

You might need to use this text alignment for the language Hebrew, for instance.

Environment

  • SAP Cloud for Customer
  • SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the work center Business Analytics.
  2. Go to the Broadcast view.
  3. Create a new broadcast for the required report.


There is no way to set RLT within the broadcast options.


 







Cause



   

Currently, we do not support RTL in broadcasting.







Resolution



   

An alternate solution would be to open the system link provided in the broadcast or only send the link, as RTL is supported when the report opens in Excel or in the browser.
