Symptom

HANA update failed and following similar error is in hdblcm.log or hdbupd.log:

Update of SAP HANA Database components failed
Upgrade failed
error upgrading
Import of delivery units failed
Execute failed : Execute failed (258) : Insufficient Privilege : Not authorized.

Or

Output line 1: Password: 
Output line 2: Failed to call repository: insufficient privilege: Detailed info for this error can be found with guid
Program terminated with exit code 1
Switching back to root user.
Error importing delivery units: regi returned exit code '1'
