Symptom

  • Unable to send Web Intelligence (WebI) reports via email from the WebI Rich Client when using Microsoft Outlook as the email client.
  • When trying to send WebI using "Send by Email" option in Rich Client, user gets the following error: com.sap.webi.ui.mail.EmailException: MAPI32 DLL not installed at com.sap.webi.ui.mail.MailManager.sendMail(Native Method) at com.sap.webi.ui.mail.MailManager$MailRunner.run(MailManager.java:129)
