2777651 - Error: 'Specify PO Box or set the PO Box Indicator for PO Box Postal Code'

You are unable to save the same values into the PO Box address fields that are already maintained in the address fields.

Error message: "Specify PO Box or set the PO Box indicator for PO Box postal code"

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Customer work center.
2. Go to the Accounts view.
3. Open an account.
4. Enter the same P.O. Box address details as already maintained in the actual postal address fields.
5. Click Save.

The system behavior is as expected. The PO Box address fields are additional, optional fields. They are used when the PO Box address deviates from the actual postal address. It is not required to use it.

Only if the PO Box address deviates from the postal address, then you would use the PO Box address fields.

If you wish to enter a deviating address for PO Box address (not the same values as in address), then it is required to tick the PO BOX Address checkbox.

• If the PO BOX Address checkbox is ticked, you can enter a different address as PO Box address than the postal address.
• If the PO BOX Address checkbox is ticked, but you enter the same value, then the changes won't be saved and the field remains blank.
