2777821 - Text Field Extension Issue in Segregation of Duty Conflicts Data Source

 You are using standard or custom reports based on the data source "Segregation of Duty Conflicts CCARSODCONFLICTS".
• You want to increase the character limit for text fields with comments to view the full text.
• Despite following the steps in KBA 2586974 - Values Length Restriction of 60 Characters in Report Results, the text extension is not working. 

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Use a standard or custom report based on the data source "Segregation of Duty Conflicts CCARSODCONFLICTS".
2. Attempt to increase the character limit for text fields with comments using the steps in KBA 2586974 - Values Length Restriction of 60 Characters in Report Results 
3. Observe that the text extension does not work.

• The SOD Conflict Reason is a system-generated value containing formatted text, which is not supported by the Business ByDesign system.
• This field is delivered with a limited format, making it impossible to extend the character limit.
• Due to this inconsistency, development is planning to deprecate this report.

1. Go to Application and User Management work center
2. Select the Business Users view. 
3. Click on View SoD Conflicts.
4. Enter the query filter parameters and run the query.
5. Export the report results to an Excel file if required.

Note: The Segregation of Duty Conflicts report will be deprecated from Business Analytics to ensure proper consumption through Application and User Management work center.
