Symptom
The following SQL1639N error logged in trans.log file:
[ dev trc,00000] *** ERROR in DB6Connect[dbdb6.c, 2009] CON = 0 CACHEID = -1 (BEGIN)
[ dev trc,00000] DbSlConnectDB6( SQLConnect ): [IBM][CLI Driver] SQL1639N The database server was unable to perform authentication
[ dev trc,00000] because security-related database manager files on the server do not have the required operating system permissions. SQLSTATE=08001
[ dev trc,00000] *** ERROR in DB6Connect[dbdb6.c, 2009] (END)
[dbdb6.c ,00000] *** ERROR => DbSlConnect to <sid> as 'sap<sid>' failed, no connect possible: "DBMS = DB6 --- DB2DBDFT = '<sid>'"
