2778122 - Ship-To Party Determination For Accounts Is Not Working As Expected

You have an account that has one or more ship-to parties maintained under Relationships facet, but none of them is marked as main. The main address of the account maintained under Addresses facet is also a ship-to party. When you create a new sales order, the ship-to party maintained under Relationships is selected automatically instead of the main address.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Customers work center.
2. Go to the Accounts view.
3. Open account ABC (ABC represents the account for which you want to create a sales order).
4. Go to the Sales Order facet.
5. Click New button.
6. The field Ship-To is automatically filled out with ship-to party DEF (DEF represents the ship-to party maintained under Relationships).

Involved parties determination is not configured correctly.

Resolution 1:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to the Overview view.
3. Search for activity Sales Order.
4. Enter Sales Order activity.
5. Go to Maintain Involved Parties.
6. Highlight row Ship-To.
7. Click Maintain Determinations.
8. Deactivate step 10 Business partner relationship of Account.
9. Save.

Resolution 2:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to the Overview view.
3. Search for activity Sales Order.
4. Enter Sales Order activity.
5. Go to Maintain Involved Parties.
6. Highlight row Ship-To.
7. Click Maintain Determinations.
8. Select Only Main Party under Take Over.
9. Save.
