2779885 - XS812 SOST error while sending e-mails using to external Mail servers

Symptom

In this KBA, as an example the target mail server is the Office 365, however it's not limited to it.

The outbound mails are showing "XS812 - No delivery to (recipient address)" error messages in transaction SOST.


The long text (KBA 2757752) of the XS812 message contains similar error as below:


"554 5.2.0 STOREDRV.Submission.Exception:SendAsDeniedException.MapiExceptionSendAsDenied; Failed to p...".
